Dev Samaj College of Education inaugurated the new session by welcoming the batch of 2010-2011. The function started with the college prayer. Kumari Satyawati Ji, Chairperson of the college lighted the Deepshikha. In her address, she congratulated the students for joining this prestigious institution of the region and urged them to take teaching not merely a career but a mission to serve the society. Dr. Anuradha Agnihotri briefly introduced the vision and mission of the college. She highlighted the glorious achievements of the college for the last 26 years and gave an overview of the activities which are held throughout the year. This was followed by an inspiring lecture by Mrs. Charanjit Kaur. She emphasised that values, community service, co curricular activities, academic excellence are the hallmarks of the Work Culture of the college. Dr. Richa Chibber introduced the Chairperson and faculty of the college.

Sweets were distributed among the students to mark the day.
