Awareness Lecture for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals:
Kindness Club of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sec.36-B, Chandigarh in association with the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) organized an awareness lecture at the college and a rally around the city.
The chief guest of the occasion, Dr. J.C. Kochhar, Secretary General, SPCA oriented the students about the motives of SPCA and Kindness Club. He appreciated the fact that Dev Samaj is the first college of the UT to be a part of any such activity and also thanked the college for being a part of SPCA activities for 25years. Dr. S.K.Sharma, founder member of SPCA also shared his views on the occasion. Dr. Jyoti Khanna, Principal of the college encouraged the students to join the club and promote vegetarianism. Mrs. Suman Arora, co-ordinator, Kindness Club, distributed badges to the members of kindness club to mark the event.
