Extension Lecture and Lohri  Celebrations:

An Extension Lecture was delivered by Dr. M.R.Chillana, Retd Professor of Education, NCERT, on the topic “Quality Teacher Education in Global Era” at Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36 B, Chandigarh. He emphasized the multi-dimensional growth of the Teachers as well as the Learners and the essence of life lies in education. The Quest of knowledge is a never ending process. He stressed that life and philosophy of life are two things which will decide one’s course of action. The students and the faculty had an Interactive Session on Philosophy of Life. Dr. Anuradha Agnihotri gave a Vote of Thanks on behalf of the College.

The Lecture was followed by Lohri Celebrations at the Campus. Kumari Satyawati Ji, Chairperson of the college lighted the bonfire along with the Principal and the faculty members.

Dr. Jyoti Khanna, Principal of the college, extended her best wishes to the students. The festival was celebrated with Great Spirit and enthusiasm.
