NSS Volunteers of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36B, Chandigarh organized AIDS AWARENESS RALLY in Buterla Village to observe World Aids Awareness Day. More than 50 NSS volunteers also participated in the rally organised by State Aids Control society to spread awareness regarding Aids.

On the same day, a lecture was ‘also delivered by Dr. Veena Gupta  to  sensitize the volunteers and villagers regarding myths and fallacies related to AIDS. The session was followed by the telecast of a  tele film “Savdhan” based on the theme aids, which  was highly enjoyed and appreciated by the villagers and NSS volunteers.

Regular activities were carried out  in the evening session that includes teaching, stitching, embroidery, Henna Applying and dancing. Computer related skills were also taught to the students on the third day of the seven day NSS camp.
