A cultural program was presented by the new batch of prospective teachers which was started with Guru Vandana and was followed by skit, songs, poems, group dances, inspirational speeches and sharing of views of students regarding the sacred relationship between Guru and Shishya. The program ended with games in which students as well as teachers participated whole heartedly. The teachers were also presented small tokens by the students as a gesture of their love and respect.

In his address, Prof. Keshav Malhotra highlighted the virtues and role of a teacher in a child’s life. He emphasized that in the changing social scenario; the teachers should always be dedicated to their profession and ready to show the proper path to their students. A teacher can imbibe values in students only if he himself has those values. Patience is the key to resolve all the quarrelsome issues.
